1)       Any deposit paid is not refundable.

2)       Balance shall be paid in full before or on completion. If the balance is not paid within 7 days of completion, interest will be charged at the rate of 20% per annum. All expenses incurred in recovering monies due will be the responsibility of the customer (inclusive of all charges, costs, and legal expenses incurred by EXOTIC THATCH PTY LTD to recover monies owed).

3)       Unless stated in writing, no additions or alteration of these terms and conditions or any representation, statements or promises inconsistent shall be of any effect and hereby expressly excluded.

4)       Goods remain the property of EXOTIC THATCH PTY LTD until all monies have been paid. The customer gives permission for goods to be removed from the property if goods are not paid for in full. The customer agrees to give access to the property to EXOTIC THATCH PTY LTD and their agents.

5)       EXOTIC THATCH PTY LTD will supply goods for erection which are in good order and condition. EXOTIC THATCH PTY LTD will not assemble the goods and cannot therefore be held accountable for the structural integrity of the structure. Similarly, EXOTIC THATCH PTY LTD have no influence over the purpose to which the structure will be installed nor the conditions applicable to the structure and cannot therefore guarantee anything other than that the goods supplied are fit for the purpose.

6)       The customer agrees that no other agreement, verbal, or otherwise exists or has been agreed to and therefore no other conditions understandings or promises are binding on this contract.

7)       All African Thatch Gazebos is only 95% waterproof and will have splinters of light shining through the thatch from the inside. This is normal.

8)       All posts and timber sections may split due to exposure to the sun and outside weather conditions. Cracks and splits in all timber sections are not considered structural defects and can happen with any timber products.

9)       It is NOT the responsibility of EXOTIC THATCH PTY LTD in any way to obtain any Council permits/approvals that may be required from time to time pending on the site location and structure. It is presumed by EXOTIC THATCH PTY LTD that the client has Council approval, if required.

5 year faulty workmanship warranty.  We will replace any timber or steel section not manufactured correctly by Exotic Thatch Pty Ltd.  

25 year warranty on timber frame and posts against rot, decay and termites.  The affected timber section will be replaced if original receipt can be shown and no negligence in the care of the timber is evident.

Terms and conditions relating to the warranties set out above;

1)  5 year faulty workmanship warranty:  This warranty does not cover warping, splitting, twisting, checking, shrinking, swelling or other changes in the shape of the timber. We will only replace faulty steel or timber sections manufactured incorrectly. Fading stain or stain that changes color due to the weather exposure is not covered. Weathering of thatch and color changes are considered normal and are not covered under this warranty. Any freight cost will be payable by the claimant.

2)  25 year warranty on timber frame and posts against rot, decay and termites:  The posts and frame are guaranteed for 25 years against rot, decay and termites by the timber supplier. We will replace any section of timber that is damaged provided negligence in care is not evidenced. Original purchase receipt is required for any claim. Any freight cost will be payable by the claimant.

3)  This warranty becomes null and void if the hut is misused or altered in any way by other than Exotic Thatch Pty Ltd personnel. Minor imperfections and improper installation are excluded from this guarantee. This warranty is valid for original owner only and is not transferable
