News: African Gazebos

We’ve just completed this stunning African Gazebo for Mr. Ross. Mr. Ross and his wife were highly impressed with our wooden frames. Exotic Thatch is the only company in Australia that sells wooden frames with their African Oval and Round gazebos. We believe it looks much nicer with the natural look of the thatch.

•    We use solid H3 treated pine frames that is great for the Australian climate. It looks much better with the natural look of the thatch. WE DO NOT USE STEEL FRAMES BECAUSE IT WILL RUST.

•    Pre-treatment of the grass by an impregnation process ensuring total thatch protection.

•    Roof pitch we use is 35 degrees to ensure a longer lifespan of the thatch due to better drainage capabilities.

•    Anti Fungicide vacuum treated African thatch tiles allows for prolonged durability against decay and insect attacks.

•    Very easy and quick to install, comes with detailed instruction manual.

•    The frames are screwed together and we do not make use of any nails or staples like many of our competition do.

•    All nuts and bolts are galvanized.

•    We use Pre-stained beams / rafters with Cabot's exterior varnish (TEAK).
