This natural grass (Alang Alang) Bali style thatch is waterproof and easy to install. The Balinese thatch strips can be purchased separately for your DIY thatch projects.

Sizes

We only sell grade A thatch "Light brown String Thatch" with a lenght of 2.4m. (The lenght is designed for a roof with a rafter spacing of 600mm).

It is very important to find out which string color thatch you buy. If you don’t, you could have numerous problems with the quality of your roof. 

We have seen roofs that do not even last 3 years because of the low quality thatch that was used. If you purchase the right thatch and install it correctly at a 40 degree pitch, you should get approximately up to 15 years out of your Bali hut.
